A Google Chrome Operating System will be available on netbooks - laptops designed for web browsing - from the second half of 2010. Heck, I'm just now getting comfortable with Win 7 RC and have never used Vista. I'm an old dog and don't enjoy learning new tricks. Quote Nothing increases productivity like the last minute....... wellies Posted July 13, 2009 Posted July 13, 2009 I'm used to producing files using various computer applications and storing them in folders on the installed OS. Using online applications is OK but what happens when the connection goes down, or the Internet becomes so busy that data slows to a crawl? At least with a full-blown OS installed, there is always something else you can be getting on with.
