Group Policy problem?

Hi All

 

I have a server running 2003 sp2 which has users rdping on. I have

restricted the drives allowed to the bar a mapped drive. They need to use

excel but when the go to save as it gives them access to everything. Can

anyone tell me how I can resolve this

Hiya. are you trying to restrict users from saving to local drives, mapped

drives, or both. On my TS servers I'm restricting users from saving to the

local drives, basically forcing them to save to the network. I'm doing this

using a combination of GPO's in:

 

User Config\Admin Templates\Windows Comp\Windows Explorer

Hide specified drives...

Prevent access to specified drives...

 

along with the NTFS ACLs.
