Right, so, ive recently had to change my internet connection to a ****ty dongle..a vodafone one..and my connection is pants!

and i need to download itunes 8.2 BUT the file is way to large!..its around 74/75 mb and my connection takes 20 mins to download a song..1 SONG!

so iwas wondering if there is anywhere or anyway i could get itunes compressed?..in a rar file or something?

You can go to the local library and download it there then copy the file to a flash drive, or go to a friend's house.

Sorry Wardy but the sooner people realise that these things don't supply the speed that a proper connection, even a wireless (router) connection does, the better.

 

I had a rough calculation and if an MP3 is say 5mb and it takes 20 minutes to download that equates to a speed of 4.2kbps. That's very sad.

I have a 3 dongle, and sometimes I get 1 MB/s , sometimes 0.3 MB/s - total rubbish considering they advertise 3.6 MB/s.

 

Have you tried connect/disconnect until you get a good speed?

4.2?..sometimes not even that!..honestly oprea tells me now and then that its like 1.4

 

and connecting over and over doesnt work..

and because the library dont let people download a thing im off round the corner tomorrow to get it off a mates pc :D..thanks for the help anyway
