ntbackup error

I'm recieving the following back error when trying to restore from a USB hard

drive.

"the backup file contains unrecognized data that cannot be used"

I did a full backup to a network share, then copied the backup to a usb

harddrive. For some reason i'm able to do a restore from the netowrk share,

but it is very, very slow. I thought if i copied the backup file to a usb

drive i could do it from there.

Any suggestions, or tips would be grealy helpful?

John

Standard Command Prompt stuff:

fc /b "d:\backup.bkf" "g:\backup.bkf"
