And we all know that you are a religious wing nut. By your own

Which was offered in sarcasm to some ignorant fool who wouldn't believe the

truth if it smacked them upside the head.

And you probably make some kind of false claim to being "tolerant". Except,

of course, for people who aren't like you.

Odd. I never disliked you.

I am neither a male chauvinist, nor a racist. There has never been anything

wrong with being a "Bible Thumper".

It is nothing but a vile creature when it is concurrently possessed of

Thanks for the idea and the link, John.

I am not going to intervene in your 'discussion' with Norman, except to say:

I hope they get the 'culprit' (don't think his name is Norman).

Went there but unable to follow through (guess I'm not savvy enough).

Simply couldn't find this particular item.

In the process of all the Ad-Aware manipulation I've lost my "right-click"

ability, which I now must regain first.

So you answer vile with vile? There is nothing so vile as de-

humanizing your foe. Makes it a lot easier to pull the trigger when

you have "it" in your sights. Beware, when you fight demons, that you

don't become like the demon you fight.

Do you not see top right of the page

(http://www.lavasoft.com/support/securitycenter/blog/) the text DOWNLOAD

with below it a big green button with the left half lining to the latest

AdAware 2007 update and the right to SE? If not try widening your browser

window.

it and figure that out later. Think I will just stick to Spybot. I

don't imagine Lavasoft will be continuing with this for very long.

OK, unzipped it into the Lavasoft folder and laughed when I started to

run it and it said it was something like 600,000 days old!! I checked

it and the defs were Jan. 14, 2008, so ran it. Got the usual 3 tracking

cookies.

I do like Spybot better (other than the eons it takes to run).....but it

checks Firefox as well.

Ah. That would be this poem, yes?

http://www.history.ucsb.edu/faculty/marcuse/niem.htm

You know, I really like that poem. It reminds me about the reason I keep a

firearm around. You see, while I am neither a Communist, nor a Socialist;

neither am I inclined to let a NAZI act against either. I am not going to

wait for the NAZIs to come after the Churchmen before I act.

I *never* said I was a NAZI.

Thanks Mike, but Lavasoft screwed up once again. This time I did go to

the absolute right and the download date was the same.....Jan. 14/08.

However, I downloaded and opened it anyway and got the same damn 730845

days out of date. Tried updating via the program, and got the same.

You would think if they say they *fixed it*......they would put the

*fixed version* as their download defs. But nah.....that would be too

simple.

All those who think they want to dump the old one and switch us all over

to the overly bloated AdAware 2007......RAISE YOUR HANDS!!

IDIOTS......them, not the hand wavers, grin.

Re: Ad-Aware SE Personal 1.06R1 updates

Harry.....I had the latest update!! Jan. 14th, 2008. Which was 24

hours old when I installed it (or less). Today's date is still the same

as that and was up till 5 minutes ago when I last checked. I also

compared dates and sizes of the two downloads.....IDENTICAL!!

Now.....go play with your mouse balls. ROFL!!

No balls on my mouse to play with, I prefer something better anyway.

Noone is "forcing" anyone to use Ad-Aware SE and you are the master

(mistress) of your domain.

Maybe the program you mentioned is worthy to replace Ad-Aware period.

Will have to give it a looking over.
