Hi

Just had a new HDD fitted, reinstalled vista but got no sound, device manager says working ok. Pc's an acer aspire M3640. Thx in advance for help.

Hi,

Did you not get a separate drivers disk with the computer when new?

You will probably need to install drivers for the sound, and maybe quite a few other things as well after reinstalling the OS only.

Have a look here for the drivers you may need.
