Guest John John Posted January 11, 2008 Posted January 11, 2008 I see that we have a religious nut on the loose. Posting under the name of others to proselytize and foist their religious beliefs onto others. I hope Microsoft clears the crap off the servers and bans them from posting here forever. John

Yes, 114 posts in all spoofing genuine posters to this NG between 04:49 and 09:41 GMT today. I have reported this to Microsoft but whether this will have any effect is anybody's guess. -- Mike Maltby mike.maltby@gmail.com

Although aoie.org might be suitable for some, it is not suitable for my needs. We can only hope that the poster will be cutoff or that it was a one time blip on the ME group, I don't see the posts on other MS groups. John

Indeed, I had only looked at one post. And now I see that he has also inundated other ms groups, like w98 general for another. I hold as much contempt for these Christian nutcases as I do for Talibans! All of them a bunch of zealots who should be dropped in the middle of the most forsaken piece of land on Earth and be left to abandon there to fight their religious wars... John

In a twisted way and no doubt displaying my prejudice I probably have far more contempt for the Christian nutcases than I do for others since I feel they should know better.. > All > of them a bunch of zealots who should be dropped in the middle of the > most forsaken piece of land on Earth and be left to abandon there to > fight their religious wars... You are welcome to try and find the forgeries under my name on Google. Two were already gone by the time I checked. I put in a removal request on two more. I can't do anything about posts propagating from other servers. -- Norman ~Shine, bright morning light, ~now in the air the spring is coming. ~Sweet, blowing wind, ~singing down the hills and valleys.
Guest David H. Lipman Posted January 11, 2008 Posted January 11, 2008 Re: Religious Nutcase on the loose! the report of the coming of Jesus Christ. So I hold out my arms to my Redeemer, who, having been foretold for four thousand years, has come to suffer and to die for me on earth, at the time and under all the circumstances foretold. By His grace, I await death in peace, in the hope of being eternally united to Him. Yet I live with joy, whether in the prosperity which it pleases Him to bestow upon me, or in the adversity which He sends for my good, and which He has taught me to bear by His example. 738. The prophecies having given different signs which should all happen at the advent of the Messiah, it was necessary that all these signs should occur at the same time. So it was necessary that the fourth monarchy should have come, when the seventy weeks of Daniel were ended; and that the sceptre should have then departed from Judah. And all this happened without any difficulty. Then it was necessary that the Messiah should come; and Jesus Christ then came, who was called the Messiah. And all this again was without difficulty. This indeed shows the truth of the prophecies. 739. The prophets foretold, and were not foretold. The saints again were foretold, but did not foretell. Jesus Christ both foretold and was foretold. 740. Jesus Christ, whom the two Testaments regard, the Old as its hope, the New as its model, and both as their centre. 741. T
