Guest Tom Reis Posted January 11, 2008 Posted January 11, 2008 We have a mix of Windows 2003 servers some are just the original Windows 2003 and some are Windows 2003 R2. I noticed on some of the R2 servers when go to properties it shows Windows 2003 Enterprise R2 but others where we used the Windows 2003 R2 CD to build it come up as just Windows 2003. Is another way to determine the version of the Windows 2003?
Guest Meinolf Weber Posted January 11, 2008 Posted January 11, 2008 Re: Windows 2003 Server version Hello Tom, The question is what disk did you use to built the 2003 servers? If you use the second R2 disk for installation it should show up as R2, if you start with the first R2 disk it is only 2003.
