Guest Wolfeymole Posted July 12, 2009 Posted July 12, 2009 Hi smajer Help out where you can, by the way I removed the sig. Quote
smajer Posted July 12, 2009 Author Posted July 12, 2009 Hey, thanks. I read the rules.. how come I can't keep sig? I get bounus points as a tech to keep sig :( Quote
Guest Wolfeymole Posted July 12, 2009 Posted July 12, 2009 You get bonus points as a Tech? Your profile states PC Illiterate. Bonus points from where? Quote
smajer Posted July 12, 2009 Author Posted July 12, 2009 Hello, The profile is defaulted to 'PC Illiterate' I did not change this . We got bonus programs, if we help out with posts on forums, we can submit them for various stuff. So will I get to keep the sig? I did not see any rules about this, only about bad content or similar. Appreciate the replys Quote
smajer Posted July 12, 2009 Author Posted July 12, 2009 Well it was in the SIG, but its hostmysite<.>com I understand there are rules, so if its a clear no, then thats ok. Thanks for your time. Quote
Guest Wolfeymole Posted July 12, 2009 Posted July 12, 2009 Host my site is a for profit organisation and is clearly in breach of Rule 10, vis. Any advertisements in Posts, Signatures or Avatars must be of a non profit making basis. Any member wishing to advertise their business on this site must contact the administration. Any links other than not for profit, ie Charities will be removed. Quote
Jelly Bean Posted July 12, 2009 Posted July 12, 2009 Rule 10 says a lot about signitures and asking Admin for permission. I can clearly read that rule. I interpriate that as please ask admin for permission for one. You were clearly advertising a site on the forum in your signiture which is clearly against the forum rules. If you re-ad this link to your posts this will inturn be breaking forum rules. I can quote that rule for you if you are unclear and explain it to you more fully? JB. smajer Posted July 12, 2009 Author Posted July 12, 2009 Not a problem, just so I feel as if I did not waste your time, I will make a useful post and we can call it even :) Thanks again, I missed that rule I suppose, adios! Quote
Guest Wolfeymole Posted July 12, 2009 Posted July 12, 2009 Allow me to state Smajer that personal home pages can be included in a signature or even a link to a charity for example. We have a member on here that has a website that deals with Snakes as it his hobby, this is quite acceptable. You are quite welcome to offer advice at all times at FPCH but be assured that if you try to spam the forum then you will be instantly banned. Trust us on that. :) Quote
smajer Posted July 12, 2009 Author Posted July 12, 2009 I respect your rules and will not break them.. I posted on another thread to make my self feel better as not to waste your time. I'll pop in here and there to see if I can contribute, unfortunately I don't have much time between family and work so when I post, I want to have a small benefit to my work. I hope we can call it even. Thanks again. Quote
Guest Wolfeymole Posted July 12, 2009 Posted July 12, 2009 That is good to hear :) Welcome to FPCH Quote
