Visual Basic.Net has problems building my application

Hello all!

 

I'm having problems with Visual Basic.Net.

 

Well, I have been working for 4 days on a small project of mine and today, as I was adding a new small feature in the menu strip of my application, I wanted to test it so I clicked the Start Debugging icon in the VB.NET menu.

 

The new item in the menu strip simly did not appear in the program at all!

 

I tried moving objects in the interface and when I clicked on Start Debugging again all of the moved objects were not moved at all. The simplest explanation to that would be that the build does not work properly and now what I see when I debug is a previous version of my work.

 

I have tried many times to build and rebuild my application without any results at all.

 

I have looked on the internet at many places and none seemed to provide any explanation on how this could happen.

 

If anybody could help me I would be eternally grateful to you as I don't want to think I have lost 4 days of hard work...
