1) I was thinking of getting a 30 inch monitor for gaming. I have been told at the native resolution of 2560 x 1600 I would struggle to play decent games at full game spec even with 2 high end graphics cards in SLI. Would you agree?

 

2) Is it true that if I scaled the resolution down when playing games or even in general use the image quality would suffer?

When using SLi you then use NVIDIA Control Panel Advanced options so you can individualy set res etc for diffrent games.

 

So you could set whats best for the games you play,it takes a little time but worth it in the end.

 

Plus no resetting each time to play diffrent games.

 

I am sure others will input for you.

 

I have dual Dell monitors and think they are pritty good screens.
