Guest Randy Starkey Posted January 12, 2008 Posted January 12, 2008 Hi, I just installed a new app, Symantec system recovery console, and the server (2003) I installed it on now refuses to boot either normal or in safe mode. In safe mode, it seems to hang at a certain driver. If I choose last known good configuration from the F8 menu, will this create UNC rollback problems as this server is an AD along with my main server. Or will it handle that issue? Thanks! --Randy Starkey

I hope that you have a recent backup of the System State. I don't think that booting into LKGF will do any harm but it probably won't do any good either. What exactly happens during a normal boot? How far does it go? What messages do you see?
