dvd-rw stoped playings cd's but plays dvds

about a week ago i tryed burning a music cd and it didnt work i thought it was the cd but after going threw 49 cds i found out its not the cds, so i tryed everything i could think of intell i looked in my computer managment and found out my cdrom showed a error i clicked on it so that the event properties would show up and the description

has (The device\device\CdRom0, has a bad block . now how do i unblock ?

 

i reallllllllllly need to know so that i can give the pc to my mom

have you tried using a lense cleaner.....

if that doesnt work then you can strip it and clean it yourself and ,you may be able to pot tweak it...to provide more power to the lense...but i wouldnt advise it...drives are so cheap now it may be easier to just replace...
