A long time before the idea of a personal computer was even thought about, in fact from the time when the IBM chief himself said he couldn't see there being any need for more than a few computers around the whole world, this little radio was probably being assembled on a Philips assembly line. It was bought by my parents some time in the late 1950s or very early 1960s, making it around fifty years old.

Yes it still works, medium waveband and VHF FM bands, and the glass bottles glow well in the dark.
