Guest SiD (gmail account) Posted January 14, 2008 Posted January 14, 2008 Today I turned on my home server (Windows 2003 Enterprise) and my RAID-5 software partition (on three dynamic disks of 200 GB) shown empty. No label, no content. 100% free space. Windows was synching the disks. Anybody know how to recover the data? Thankyou VERY much in advance! Sid.
Guest Dave Patrick Posted January 14, 2008 Posted January 14, 2008 Re: Empty dynamic partition (RAID-5) Your best bet is to run the manufacturers tools (disk and controller) to find out what failed then restore from a recent backup. If no backups then try one of the Data Recovery services. -- Regards, Dave Patrick ....Please no email replies - reply in newsgroup.
