keyboard problem on laptop

Hi Help forum

 

I have a big problem with my sony vaio laptop. the s key has stopped functioning and the e key is on the way out! I have kept it clean but it is still a big problem. any ideas or will i need an expensive repair?

If you can get a can of compressed air, then direct a jet of air directly under the affected keys, this may loosen or blow away any dust that may be the cause of the problem.

The cans of compressed air can be bought at most computer dealers and especially computer parts dealers.

If that doesn't help I am afraid it may mean either a new keyboard or at least fully dismantling to repair. Laptops being so difficult to get into, it is best to get an expert to do that.
