Hey, I was wondering if there was any "official" reason as to why threads which are clearly entirely spam are not deleted or blanked, but only locked.

 

If you only lock them, then they still work as advertising though Google and Windows Live searchbots.

 

If you delete or blank them, they do not piggyback their product to a high pagerank through abuse of the forums here.

 

Can we have some "official" response from the admins here?
