What's the best way to leave feedback?

 

I've never sold on eBay, I always buy. But the feedback I get left is invariably enthusiastic, usually all uppercase and laden with exclamation marks.

 

I feel compelled to leave my feedback similarly, but it goes against my character. I'm meant to be restrained and honest, so why do people leave me feedback like:

 

"EBAY SUPERHERO NO PROBLEMS THANKS"

"A+++++ very quick payment, Recommended"

"instant payer! what more could a seller ask for?! *H.RECOMMENDED BUYER*"

",¸¸,ø¤ºGREATº¤ø,¸ You were great!!! Thanks for your business!"

 

...all I did was follow procedure and click "Pay Now" immediately after I won the thing, isn't that how you're meant to do it anyway?

 

I want to show my gratitude, but it's just "doing business", not charity. What kind of feedback do you usually leave?
