My taskbar wont lower down to what i usually have it at it usually sits 10mm up from the bottom of the screen but now it sits 25mm up from bottom and when i try to lower it it just disappears or goes to far up again 1 of the kids was on it last its got me stumped!!!!

Hi

 

Right-click on the taskbar and untick Lock the Taskbar (if not unticked already)

Then move your mouse over the edge of the taskbar until the pointer is a two sided arrow the click and drag the taskbar to where you want it.

Then tick Lock the Taskbar again.

When i get the 2 arrows i cant move the taskbar down and the taskbar is not locked either im also gettin keyboard trouble some buttons are not where they are supposed to be on the keyboard if that makes sense!!

If so then hover the mouse over the very top edge of the task bar untill it changes to a vertical double headed arrow like so.

Tried it it dont work for some reason it either stays the way it is or dissappears down the bottom of the screeen weird! My keyboard buttons are all jumbled up the @ key is now done by holding shift then pressing number 2 but that is really meant to be speech marks its really strange :mad:

Done that it was already set on uk! Dont know whats up with the pc!!

Hi, the regional settings one I have seen elsewhere recently, for some reason it seems that a full reboot is needed for the UK settings to take effect after a change has been made.

Go back to the regional settings page, change it to USA, then back to UK, make sure you hit the "Apply" button, close the page then reboot straight away, see if that works.
