Guest Duncan Posted January 15, 2008 Posted January 15, 2008 We have removed admin rights for all users on their pc's. By doing this they have lost the ability to add local printers when on the road. Is there a way to fix this without giving admin rights back?

You can install the drivers yourself as an admin, then when they logon they can add any printer as long as the drivers are preinstalled. This has been an interesting topic for many years. Vista has some features to overcome this, but not with the other OSs. -- Regards, Ace This posting is provided "AS-IS" with no warranties or guarantees and confers no rights.
