How to allow non-admins install local printers

We have removed admin rights for all users on their pc's. By doing this they

have lost the ability to add local printers when on the road. Is there a way

to fix this without giving admin rights back?

Under Windows 2000 and XP, not really. You can install the drivers yourself

as an admin, then when they logon they can add any printer as long as the

drivers are preinstalled.

This has been an interesting topic for many years. Vista has some features

to overcome this, but not with the other OSs.
