jt91 Posted August 1, 2009 Posted August 1, 2009 my PC had just shut down after the screen went funny. Heres the error report Iv just got. Iv received this problem 4-5 times in the past few days. I updated my graphics driver and it didn't report any problems so im not sure what do do. Could it be part of the same problem? My Graphics card is vista enabled. I havnt seen the blue screen though - first few times I was watching my family guy DVD's. Just earlier I was on another thread on this forum when it happened. The screen just goes really funny. Like loads of squares, all about an inch long with loads of lines on it.... But thats from memory. Hard to say more. Its a Sapphire Radeon HD 3450 (512mb) - got it brand new. http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii31/jamesyyyya/BS.png http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii31/jamesyyyya/BS1.png http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii31/jamesyyyya/Untitled-2.png Thanks :) Quote

jt91 Posted August 1, 2009 Author Posted August 1, 2009 Yes I did. I followed the instructions from my graphic programme thing: http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii31/jamesyyyya/Untitled-3.png EDIT: Iv just noticed the software has the wrong naming on it - why is that? I installed that using the disc that came with the graphics card. Quote

Plastic Nev Posted August 1, 2009 Posted August 1, 2009 Yes indeed, get that malware issue sorted first, there may well be a connection, but until that is sorted we won't know for sure what the problem may be with the card.
