Monitoring resource usage over time.

Hello.

 

One of my users is claiming that my application slows down during a certain time period (22:00 - 22:30) and then is OK again.

 

Is there any (hopefully free) application that I could leave running on their machine, that will log the Resource (eg CPU, Memory, Network) usage, say, every 3 minutes?

 

that way I will hopefully see if my app is balooning at some point and slowing the machine temporarily, or if there are some other factors at work.

 

 

 

What I find particularly strange is that they claim it is time related, not usage-related, e.g. they may use it more intensely at 8pm, and all will be ok.

 

oh, and there is no anti-virus software, or scheduled tasks as far as i know...
