Disable RDP encryption and compression

Hi everyone,

This is my scenario. I'm working with Windows Server 2003 Std Edition + SP2

as a Terminal Server and windows CE 4.2 device-based connected with wireless

network. I need to know two things:

- Disabling encryption and compression, terminal services performance for

playing video can be improved?? If so, how can I disable encryption and

compression between client and server

- Is there a way to optimize or improve terminal service performance for

playing video (encarta videos for example) using wireless network?

I hope your comments, thanks.

Re: Disable RDP encryption and compression

You can configure the encryption level in Terminal Services

Configuration.

But don't expect miracles for video performance.

Streaming video is not the type of thing you want to do in a TS

session.
