Will someone tell me how to change a MIME format file to an HTM file

format please? I would like to save some emails with photo

attachments from MIMI to HTM.

Thanks

Don't think you can do what you're thinking. You have to save the images,

create a new email in HTML format, then place the images.

Here is one example that worked for me but may not work for you.

I have some emails with atttachments which I generated using Netscape

3 and which were imported into Eudora, my current email client.

The attachment looks like this:

=======================================================================

--------------5C8A75C214A2

Content-Type: image/jpeg; name="keybpc.jpg"

Content-Transfer-Encoding: base64

Content-Disposition: inline; filename="keybpc.jpg"

=======================================================================

Notice that the header tells you that the attachment is a file named

keybpc.jpg and that it is in base64 format.

What I do is to copy and paste the block of data starting with ...

--------------5C8A75C214A2

Content-Type: image/jpeg; name="keybpc.jpg

.... and ending in ...

--------------7A8E2B3451D2--

.... into Wordpad. I then save the file in MS-DOS text format as

keybpc.b64. Winzip opens this file and shows me a single file named

keybpc.jpg.

Another way to extract the photos is to change the file's extension to

..mim and open it with Winzip.
