2003 Standard Edition Upgrade

I have a server that needs more memory. It currently has 4gb running Server

2003 Standard with SP2 and R2 applied. Can this be upgraded to Enterprise to

accomodate an additional 4gb of ram or will I need to reinstall the os and

apps?

You can run it as an upgrade to save all current profiles, apps, settings,

etc. Once to Enterprise, you can't go backwards.

Re: 2003 Standard Edition Upgrade

I slipstreamed Server2003 with SP2 and added R2 to the components folder

also. The upgrad ran successfully. My concern is the login box still says

"Standard Edition", but the properties of "my computer" and the results of a

"winmsd" both state "Enterprise". Do you know what could be causing this?
