worksopmale Posted August 5, 2009 Posted August 5, 2009 my stepson has a second hand desktop with a wireless dongle. the only way we can get him to connect to the internet is by:- double clicking internet options in control panel then click on connections. we then click on LAN settings and where it says use a proxy server for your LAN we have to keep unchecking the box otherwise it wont allow him to connect. Can anyone give me a clue how to reset the LAN settings so we dont have to do this everytime please. I have tried everything i know even entering settings from other pcs we have in the house. any help would be appreciated. Thanks Quote
