Im running a PC with Windows XP ,1 GB Ram and a Intel Celeron 2.4 GHZ processor.I have a NVidia 6200

Graphics Card.

My problem is when i turn my pc on,It is fine and running normally until i reach the password/login screen.

The hourglass comes up like it is loading the login parts, but doesnt move or allow me to login,i just have a blue screen with and hourglass in the center,I cant do anything :(

Can anyone help?

I know its not very technical and not much information but im not great with computers..

If you need any more info please ask :)

Thanks

try booting into safe mode and see if it does the same thing.....tap f8 at startup so you can see the boot options.then select safe mode.....

try booting up again and tapping f8.then choose (last known good configuration).see if that helps.

if you leave the machine with the hourglass going.does it eventually do anything........safe mode is your best bet, then we could try a system restore.or at least create a new profile, then back up your data
