Does v7 support export AI file to Macromedia Flash?

As I have yet to install it [and Flash] in this new setup: IIRC, It was

capable when used in conjunction with Macromedia MX 2002 and the Flash

version [8?] that came with the suite. Or maybe it was importable,, sorry,

I'm not even sure I'll install much more of the suite than just Dreamweaver

or install Illustrator, or PhotoShop. Seems that gives me about 5 gig more

free space.

 

What is it you're trying to accomplish?

I just want know will the .AI files created by old illustrator 8 to be

correctly interpreted by Macromedia Flash 8.

Sorry for the late reply, tweaking the firewall again.

Tracing/monitoring/back tracing ....

 

If you have the full Flash prog suite [creator, etc.] IIRC, it will import

almost any of the formats normally used or found in/on a web page or Flash,

Freehand, PhotoShop, etc., presentation.. Then again, as I have most of the

other progs [Adobe/Macromedia] I may have imported/saved them first via

something else before importing to Flash. As you can see, its been awhile

since I did something like that, wish I could give you something concrete.
