N1 Vision / Vigor 120 Setup

Hello,

 

I have a Belkin N1 vision working with a vigor 120 (adsl modem) with talktalk isp.

took a little while to setup using PPPoA etc. but it does work most of the time but..

 

at least once a week i seem to loose connection which will work again once i restart the router.

 

not sure what is causing this... i was thinking it might happen when talktalk change my ip address...

 

any ideas on how to solve this?

It may be a Talktalk fault, sorting it out could be difficult.

 

Does it happen at the same time each week?

 

Have you tried updating the firmware on your modem?
