Hi Folks,

I have a problem with our TS servers, 3 pieces (Win2k3 SP2 all updates),

when a customer with a low bandwidth at TS, then pulls this session all

other sessions on the server down. While the sign-up process is almost

nothing more.

Can someone help me?

Greeting

Michael

Ps:

sorry for my bad english

Do the other sessions get disconnected ?

Or do they experience slowness when the new session comes up?

Thanks,

Priya.

Re: Slow session slows all sessions

Another question, does the CPU counter go higher when this user logs in?

Re: Slow session slows all sessions

Hi Priya,

yes all other sessions are getting very slow when the new session (with the

small bandwidth) comes up. The slowest point is, during the slowers

session's loggin procedure.

We don't have any trouble with CPU performance (max. 10 %) and a huge memory

(2 GB free for program and 2 GB for system). This should be enough.

All sessions are very slow while the slower session is connected. After

disconneting the slow session, the other sessions are getting distincly

faster.

I think load balancing is not the solution for our problem, because the

servers running autarkic with different applications.

Do you know a property within the terminal server, that forces the server to

deliver each session as fast as possibl? This could be a couls solution for

our problem.

thx
