Guest S Reugebrink Posted January 22, 2008 Posted January 22, 2008 hello all, i got a big problem, i get a 0x0000006F Session3_initialization_failed error on my server. the server was working fine till the DNS service stopt, after looking in logs i could`nt find anything so i rebooted the server. after reboot i got the error. after googeling i find a solution to fixmbr and chkdsk the harddrive in the recovery console from windows 2003 server setup, butt you have to enter a administrator password. i have enterd the password about 25 times and still it says it`s the wrong password. so is there a other way to get in to the recovery console or is there a better solution to fix this problem. regards reugebrink
Guest Ryan Hanisco Posted January 23, 2008 Posted January 23, 2008 RE: 0x0000006F Hi Reugebrink, This isn't the password associated with the Administrator account in windows. This would be the disaster recovery password that was set up on the machine when it was first configured. Can you think back to that point to a password or an old standard install password you were using at the time? Other than that, you might be stuck and have few other options than working from a repair disk or new install on top of the old OS -- or even a parallel install so you can try to recover files. -- Ryan Hanisco MCSE, MCTS: SQL 2005, Project+ http://www.techsterity.com Chicago, IL Remember: Marking helpful answers helps everyone find the info they need quickly.
