remotely controlling dial-up sessions on a win2k3 terminal server...

This is frustrating as heck...

We have a few users that are on dial-up from their home location. From time

to time I have to remote control their sessions to look at something that is

going on etc...

When I remote control one of these sessions, it is as slow for me as it is

them (screen refreshing etc...) which is very annoying. Is there any way to

get around this? It seems very odd that I too should be faced with a

sluggish session when I am controlling a session that is running on my local

server! (which is about 20ft away from me!!)

Help!

Thanks, Brad

Just log into their session on your own. Don't worry about Remote

connecting. You can do all the same things when you log into their

profile, including making the neccessary corrections. If you are

allowed multiple sessions, you can remain remotely connected to them

and log into a new session simultaneously.

Yes, that is typically what I do, but in this case they wanted me to see the

issues they were having right then (mesages up on screen etc... etc...) -

which is when the problem arises if they are on dial-up...
