FaceBook popup errors.

I have recieved a large number of help requests for FaceBook continual popup errors and have been searching for a fix.

 

So far I have come up with the following:

 

Open Internet explorer and then click Manage Addons.

 

Locate any FaceBook addons and delete them.

 

Restart Internet Explorer and try FaceBook again are you getting the popup errors?

 

Addons are not realy required and can cause issues in IE and slow loading web pages.

 

I did note that while using FireFox I incurred no popup errors.

 

Try downloading FireFox,install and try Facebook and see if you get the dreaded popup errors.

 

Download FireFox from:

 

Firefox web browser | Faster, more secure, & customizable | Mozilla Europe

 

You can import your fav links from IE to FireFox so do not worry about adding them one by one.

I was always a big IE fan, but am only using FireFox now and find it to be a much better browser. It also handles add-ons much better.

I have found no real help for people on the error popups so if I can get them to test the addons or use FireFox and let me know how it goes we may get somewere on what is the real issue.

 

But so far FireFox is excellent and no errrors.

Yeah I have a few problems with apps on FB, have contacted the creators for the apps and they have said to manage my pop up blocker as it is common for that to be blocking some of their script?

Also my friend uses Firefox on the same apps as myself and has no problems. Thanks for the info :)

Yes I am using firefox, but had IE as my main as FIrefox causes problems with other sites I use on a regular basis, so installed firefox to use for some, and will for FB, besides it's much more fun he heee Thanks agian
