Guest Ryan Hanisco Posted January 24, 2008 Posted January 24, 2008 Re: Windows Server 2008 RTM Date? There are a bunch of rollout events in March all over the country to announce Server 2008, SQL 2008, and Visual Studio 2008 as a group. Yes VS is already out and all, but catching one of the roll outs is a good way to be introduced to the new product line. -- Ryan Hanisco MCSE, MCTS: SQL 2005, Project+ http://www.techsterity.com Chicago, IL Remember: Marking helpful answers helps everyone find the info they need quickly. Guest LaRoux Posted February 4, 2008 Posted February 4, 2008 Re: Windows Server 2008 RTM Date? The bits for x64 RTM are available on MDSN now so I guess it would be today. One interesting note, when I retrieve my MAK key, it says it's good for 1500 activations. I don't know if that's an error or not. If not, way to go MS for making this essentially a non-issue as far as running out of activations. There's a readme that indicates that the other pieces (including x86) will drop over the next few days.
