Dear all,

I am a newbie in windows server.

Can anybody help me?

My case is following.

I have a fix ip and have already set in a hardware router in my

company (for example 211.2.100.5 public IP, private IP is

192.168.1.1). I want to setup an VPN in win2003 server.

How can I do that?

My win2003 server has 2 network cards.

I want my staffs to connect company router (hardware router with

211.2.100.5) by vpn at home and then connect to win 2003 VPN server.

So that they can access company resources by VPN channel.

Please indicate me how should I do in hardware router and how should I

do in win2003 server.

SOS!

Thank you very much.

Regards,

Alan

On the W2003, run RRAS (and use the wizard to set it up).

On the hardware router, depending on what type of VPN you configuring,

enable the port 500/UDP (IPSec), port 50 (ESP), 51 (Authentication header),

1723/tcp (PPTP)
