Activation Key

I currently have Server 2003 Enterprise configured on a vpc and wish to add

terminal services for some testing. However, installing Terminal License

Server requires a product key and I don't have one unless the Server key is

the one to be used. Any help out there?

Re: Activation Key

You can just install the Terminal Server role without the need of a license

server for 120 days, this is the so-called licensing grace period. All this

does not require an additional license key.

However, if you want, you can also install a license server without any

terminal server licenses. It will issue temporary licenses to terminal

servers on the network for 90 days. Before this period is over you will need

to purchase TS CALs and activate them through the clearing house.

Note that the 120-day grace period of a Terminal Server stopps in the same

moment when it connects to TS license server on the network.
