Cannot Format My Flash Disk

Hello

Right now when I try to format my flash disk, I get this warning: "Windows cannot format this drive.Quit any disk utilities or other programs that are using this drive, and make sure that no windows is displaying the contents of the drive.Then try formatting again."

Hello Volcano. Are you using any documents / files / applications present on the drive when attempting the Format?

 

Also, a silly question, but its a removable disk right?
