Plastic Nev Posted September 2, 2009 Posted September 2, 2009 Hi and welcome. Are you trying to download the Windows 7 using this computer? and if so does it already have an OS on it? Have you tried the download to a different machine, then put it on a disk to try installing that way. Also where are you downloading it from? Quote Need help with your computer problems? bootneck02 Posted September 2, 2009 Author Posted September 2, 2009 Eventually problem solved :)Hi all, the problem solved I tested the the system used Bart to test the Ram took 3hours no problem, checked the hard drives all correct, checked soundand audio card, eventualy the cpu found that although the CPU heat sink seemed firm but after taking it out found signs in the paste that one side only had been ceated properly, so replaced the CPU with a spare and a stock cooler downloaded XP pro 32 bit. So now I have ordered a Zalman S9700L from Novatech it will be here on Friday. I then fit the new heat sink as I do not trust those push clips, so problem solved:becky: Quote
