can i get my ADVENT T9201 - XP as 'out of the box' condition again???

hi,

I would like to clear my old computer as it was when i bought it about 5 years ago.

I have done this with Vista and it was very easy all i had to do was tapp the F8 key on start up and follow the on screen prompts, i didnt need any recovery disks it restored it from a section on the hard drive, was a peice of cake!

 

With XP do i need the disks?? I can't remember if i got them with the computer as it was so long ago! When i tapp F8 it comes up with a different screen................................

 

Any help would be great

do you mean this was on another pc and your kind of comparing?

Also what make and model is the pc with XP you are trying to restore?

what menu are you getting when you tap the key.

Your computer did come with a recovery CD - I've just checked here

 

UKT Support - Advent T9201 PC

 

You will need to buy a new one to reinstall Windows to factory settings. You can buy one here
