remote boot on diskless workstations - how to?

I have idea to remote boot on diskless stations from image of an installed

WinXP or Win2k3 from our server (win2k3 SP2). I have tried some ideas "how

to" from web but without success...

I tried these methods:

1.) no-RIS, DHCP (service of win2k3), TFTP (TFTPD32.exe), boot file mba.pxe

from imagedit.exe (3Com utility), which is pointing to right image. Problem:

a size of image and making og bootable image from installed Win32 OS. Startup

diskette of Win98SE I remote boot without problem but this is end of this

solution. How to make bootable image from HDD partition formated by NTFS???

2.) same, but there is booting by memdisk/pxelinux.0. Very comfortable, but

same problem - how to make bootable image from HDD partition formated by

NTFS? Is there any limitation of size of the bootable image?

3.) Ghost ServerCast (v8.0) a Client by memdisk/pxelinux.0. I am booting to

grey Ghost client´s GUI successfully, but if I try a broadcast connection to

remote server and I will set name of Cast session and IP of server, where is

placed Ghost, at moment I will obtain "Application Error 505: Failed to join

GhostCast

Session with GhostCode 19901". Activity of port 6666 by netstat -a shows

that ghost cast-server is listening... Any idea? Is it strictly necessary to

ghost image size would be smaller that physical memory on remote connecting

workstation??

4.) BartPE or WinPE is remote booting without problem. But - if I thing

correctly - this is namely for remote installation not for booting of

installed image.

Is there any solution how to boot diskless workstations from win2k3 server

without RIS as installed system image?

Thank you very much for any ideas and help to me...
