I am new to TS and just installed a TS 2003 server for a workgroup. I was

wondering if it is possible to setup a client session like this:

When the user clicks on the TS client icon, it will open a specific

application and not give them access to the full desktop.

Sure.

You can define the Staring application in 3 places:

1. in the rdp client

2. on the server, in Terminal Services Configuration - rdp-tcp

connection - properties

3. in a Group Policy:

Computer Configuration - Administrative templates - Windows

Components - Terminal Services

"Start a program on connection"

(also under User Configuration; If both settings are configured,

the Computer Configuration setting overrides.)
