Guest Jeff Posted January 29, 2008 Posted January 29, 2008 hey When people say "Terminal Server" on a windows platform (Windows Server 2003 platform), to they then really mean "Terminal Server" or do they mean Terminal Services? I've checked microsoft.com and AFAIK they mean Terminal Service, a service which can be set to run on a Windows Server 2003. However I'm not sure... so that's why I post here... (I'm a newbie on Terminal Server)

"Terminal Server" is just a common way to refer to a Windows server which hosts Terminal Services. Hope that's clearer. Note that TS has its own group - microsoft.public.windows.terminal_services.
