Guest Fabio Posted January 29, 2008 Posted January 29, 2008 I have added a user to the local admin group so that he can logon to a server. for some reason the user profile folder keeps on getting deleted. how can I change that? is there a way?
Guest Meinolf Weber Posted January 30, 2008 Posted January 30, 2008 Re: Local admin login Hello Fabio, Check in your GPO's if Restricted Groups are configured, if yes you have to add the user account also to this group. Only acoounts/groups configured here will be hold as local admins, also the administrator account. Guest Meinolf Weber Posted January 30, 2008 Posted January 30, 2008 Re: Local admin login Hello Fabio, You have to check all policies that are applied from the machines. Run gpresult on one and note the policys. Then go to Computer configuration>Windows settings>Security Settings>Restricted Groups. On the right pane you can see if something is configured.
