Local admin login

I have added a user to the local admin group so that he can logon to a

server. for some reason the user profile folder keeps on getting deleted.

how can I change that? is there a way?

Hello Fabio,

 

Check in your GPO's if Restricted Groups are configured, if yes you have

to add the user account also to this group. Only acoounts/groups configured

here will be hold as local admins, also the administrator account.

do you know the exact name of the gpo that I need to add the user in?

Hello Fabio,

 

You have to check all policies that are applied from the machines. Run gpresult

on one and note the policys. Then go to Computer configuration>Windows settings>Security

Settings>Restricted Groups. On the right pane you can see if something is

configured.
