FSRM Test email failed 5.7.3

I installed FSRM on a file server in our single domain. I'm trying to send a

test email from the file server and am using our in house Exchange 2007

server as the SMTP server. I am receiving a 5.7.3 Authentication unsuccessful

error.

 

Do I need to install smtp on the file server?

 

I'm stumped.
