starla Posted September 17, 2009 Posted September 17, 2009 After setting everything up as to what I was told on gmail's web sites and after successfully sending mail from 'Windows Mail' I got a message saying: Account: 'POP3', Server: 'pop.gmail.com', Protocol: POP3, Server Response: '-ERR not supported 3pf300400pzk.24', Port: 995, Secure(SSL): Yes, Server Error: 0x800CCC90, Error Number: 0x800CCC18 "check for new messages on 'POP3'" failed in 'Windows Mail' but I've received replys in my 'Windows Live Mail' account and it has recieved all previous messages. :confused: It seems redundant to me that my computer has to versions of 'outlooks' at all but I dont understand their inter-relations... If there isnt any perhaps I can just uninstall 'Windows Mail'? Quote

I won't purport to know your Norton program or why you think it's Norton. I'm not a fan. I'm not convinced it is a Norton issue. It might be a previous Gmail configuration and the messages just might not be there. Is this an issue or are you satisfied? Quote We are all members helping other members.
