Hi all, im new here so hope this is the right place to post this.

 

I am after a new desktop pc to replace my laptop, as its graphics card is not the best. I am currently studying architecture and need to do some 3d work on 3d studio, adt, sketchup , as well as lots of work in photoshop. I am on a small budget but have found this one, spec below. I think it is a fast pc but without a good graphics card, can anyone confirm this? also if i am able to buy a good graphics card to put in it.

as i said i am on a budget due to being a student, but could afford another £100 for a decent graphics card. Any help or other suggestions would be great.

Hi and welcome to Extreme Tech Support - Free PC Help, the spec looks pretty good as a budget machine, though not sure about whether the mother board will take the latest PCI Express which most new graphics cards are now. As far as a recommendation of what you can get in the way of a card for the price I will leave that to those with more knowledge of graphics.

However you will need a monitor as it doesn't come with one and those can be pricey too.

Also if needing internet connection, that depends on if you already have a DSL modem, as there is no modem or wireless either.
