Have a look at these links on install issues. I have Adobe reader 9.1.2 installed,plus service pack 3 (not certain about SP2 althoug all updates done?) Attempting to download a PDF file which requires latest adobe reader. When attempting to update,update comes up ready to install.install begins then adobe install manager states unable to update please close update manager?? In my opinion adobe reader is slow and bloated these days. Restart your computer. Then download and install the latest version of pdf reader. good luck! Quote
