Security Log Oddity

I have several Windows 2K3 SP2 or 2K3 R2 servers as domain controllers

throughout the organization. I have the security logs setup usually at 16

meg size and to overwrite the log as necessary.

 

The problem that I have been having, and haven't found a solution or maybe

out of obtuseness I am just missing it, is that when I log on to these domain

controllers, I will get the "Security Log is Full" error message. So I go

into Event Viewer to see the security log and it resets to 512kb with no

overwrite. So I set it back to 16384 wth overwrite as necessary only to have

the same issue come up.

 

If I remember correctly there was a hotfix to deal with this, but don't

remember where or what it was. My question is, do any of you know where it

is, or have you seen this question?
