hi all,

i have been wanting to do something for a while now but cant get anywhere

with it, someone in a smallbiz ;-) forum suggested to pop on here and ask,

in sbs 2003 you have a feature where your server send a report out to your

email and lets you know how the server has been performing over the last

24hrs, i.e. what services are good/bad, if the backup ran, storage sizes,

performance of the ram and such,

i want to be able to use this on server 2003, its one tool from MS that i

like and would use,

is it possible, do you know what it is that does it, answers on a postcard lol

all the best

The Monitoring & Reports feature of SBS is very nice, but isn't available

outside of SBS. Same with Remote Web Workplace. You should be able to find

plenty of third party software & even remote management/maintenance services

that will do this for you, though - I don't know how you'd do it with any of

the built-in stuff in W2003.
