Hi pucker22.

Since Windows 7 is not yet available and Windows 7 RC is no longer an an option as a test OS we need more info.

What email client were you using? I'm assuming Windows Mail.

Hi Randy,

Sorry, yes it was windows mail client, the default one that came with windows vista, and when I upgraded to windows 7 it doesnt exist anymore and concerned that I have lost all my emails and folders from the orginal client.

Hmm, thats a crazy Windows 7 glitch!

Your folders should still be intact although hidden. Be aware the more you use the PC the more chance there is that your data will be overwritten.

I'd take out the drive and hook it up to another PC as a second drive to attempt to get you folders back.

Have a look at this recovery tool, it works for some people

Hopefully you'll get other recovery suggestions posted too.
